Corporate Paralegal
Location: Downtown Houston, TX (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $65,000 – $70,000 + Paid Parking
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Paralegal to support their in-house legal team within a corporate environment. This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders and support a wide range of legal functions including contract management, corporate compliance, litigation, and risk management. Top Requirements
• 3+ years of paralegal experience (corporate/in-house environment strongly preferred)
• Paralegal Certificate required
• Experience supporting multi-state and international matters (U.S. & Canada)
Key Responsibilities
• Support in-house attorneys across corporate, transactional, compliance, and litigation matters
• Manage and coordinate the full contract lifecycle including tracking, review, and approvals
• Gather, analyze, and summarize information related to legal matters
• Coordinate responses to subpoenas, discovery requests, and other legal documentation
• Maintain legal files, documentation, and matter management systems
• Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, and legal documents
• Manage templates, forms, and internal legal resources
• Serve as a liaison between legal and internal business partners
• Support administrative and project-based legal initiatives
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Paralegal Certificate required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate or law firm setting
• Experience working in a national or international organization
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and legal processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Notary Public (State of Texas)
• Bilingual is a plus
Additional Details
• Onsite role in a professional downtown office environment
• Parking provided
• Occasional overtime may be required
• Up to 10% travel (primarily local, during business hours)
